Aislinn Derbez, the daughter of two well-known actors, got her start early. She began modeling when she was only 15, eventually leaving sunny, warm Mexico City for the cold rigor of New York City where she studied acting, writing, visual arts, and photography in college. Aislinn combined modeling with performing arts, and soon enough, she had the acting bug big time. While she was auditioning for parts in New York and getting some call backs, it was when she returned to her native Mexico that things really started to take off for her. Her first big part came when she was cast in the TV show Ninas mal. From there, her career caught fire with her appearing in more than 30 movies and TV shows over the next 10 years.
